NOVEMBER 2006 - Award Winning Services
Within its first 12 months of business in one of the North West's most competitive markets, Reach BCS won through against a range of high-profile challengers in November this year to scoop the prestigious EM 'ICT Innovation' Business Award for 2006.
The annual award is presented and sponsored by Manchester and Rochdale-based Hopwood Hall College. Accepting the accolade for Reach BCS at this year's awards ceremony was Aftab Ali, the company's Creative Director and Managing Partner - a former student at the college and part of the winning team that received the 'International Innovation in Content Management' award in 2003.
Thanking the panel of judges at a glittering ceremony in Rochdale's Town Hall, attended by many of the region's most successful businesses and guest speakers, Aftab said:
"It's an amazing achievement for a young organisation like Reach BCS to be recognised in its first year of business as one of the leading technology-based companies in the region. To be handed the ICT Innovation award by the college that encouraged me starting out in the world of graphic design was personally a great moment. But it's the efforts of the whole Reach BCS team that deserve special mention - without them non of this would be possible".

APRIL 2006 - GROWING SUCCESS
Since re-launching under the new Reach BCS masthead earlier this year, our company of experienced designers, developers and marketing managers has seen increasing demand for its unique combination of brand communication services
- and won through against some strong competition to gain significant contracts from widely differing businesses.
We have stepped up recruitment substantially in recent weeks to meet increasing demand, and to ensure that projects continue to be delivered on time, within budget, and matching the high standards that all our clients have come to expect.
The good news continues. Most recently, the range of fresh new talent added to the team with our latest recruits helped Reach BCS win through in a three-way pitch to deliver a comprehensive six-month, two-phase project to Celltek Communications Ltd - a leading innovator in Integrated Technology Solutions - and to gain the contract for a full 'brand overhaul' at Indian Ocean, the long-established Tameside restaurant now expanding its famous dining experience.
MARCH 2006 - Designed to sell - up close and personal fashion pages
One of our latest Web site design launches - www.vickilouise.co.uk - is a full e-commerce implementation offering an extensive range of luxury designer lingerie and plus-size shapewear, bras, briefs and nightwear direct to the consumer.
E-commerce sites must quickly inspire trust and confidence with the user and make the buying decision as easy as possible. The navigation must be simple, and always keep progress towards closing the sale as the No1 priority. Every purchase should be possible within a few clicks, no matter what the starting point, or where potential customers may find themselves when browsing around the site.
Location photography produced by Reach BCS with many 'real people' models wearing examples of the lingerie on offer, along with stock photos and numerous manufacturers' product shots were combined by our design team to present a vertitable feast of eye-catching illustration for the online catalogue. Success of sites like this is ultimately measured in sales, but it's good to show off some good looks along the way. |
